Alright everyone, since I've been displaced (tear) well, not really, but you know... because my outpost is no longer out of the Latinitas office, I have become a Starbucks loiterer.
Yeah, I said it. I loiter...kind of. I'm on the internet on the laptop, you know, updating my blogs, writing articles, applying for schools and replying to e-mails, but all at the coffee shop.
Nope, I don't buy anything, I mean- Why would I? My sister works there, and I, too, once worked for the man for three years! So I figure they owe me at least the pleasant environment that I once enjoyed when I was still an innocent, untainted employee. Now that I no longer have a responsibility to Starbucks, (and they no longer own me), I can hang out there with no worries. Alas, I have returned to coffee nirvana.
Anyway---I'm rambling as usual.
Okay soooo, now that I spend a lot of time in this four-wall coffee entrapment, I've been able to do a lot of people watching and what-not.
HAVE YOU ANY IDEA HOW MANY PEOPLE PARK IN THE HANDICAP PARKING SPACES???
And no, they're not handicap, and they don't have handicap plates. They have taken to parking there when the store is in it's peak hours and the lines on drive thru are "too long," or they're too lazy to find an appropriate parking space, while they run out and get a cup of joe.
This is despicable and a complete disrespect of people who actually need these spots because they are, guess what, HANDICAPPED!!!
It really irks me when people justify parking in handicap spots because they're "only going to be in and out" while they get their drinks.
The end. :)
