Boys? BLAH!

This Blog is not to hate on Boys or Men. It is not about being sexist and talking about the opposite sex! This past Thursday I took my totally awesome, cute and super Gorgeous Cousin Alejandra to the mall and for Chico's Tacos. Alejandra is AKA Ala. She is 12 years old and is like a little sister to me... I love her to death. Anyway, she told me that a boy in her school asked her to be his girlfriend. I wanted to kill her ( not literally) but I made a choice to listen to her instead and gain her trust rather than just be another adult to shut her up. We talked about the guy and about her expectations in her relationship. She just thought about the romantic stuff like love letters and hugs. This morning when I came in I heard about a little conflict that happened at one of our Clubs, some girls fighting over a boy! Girls PLease! What's so cool about boys anyway! They are annoying, they think they're all that, they sometimes smell bad after PE or practice and they snore! JK But seriously girls, what's the rush to experience dating? I promise you will experience it in highschool, even more in college and by the time your done with school you will more then likely be sick of guys! Being in a relationship is hard and exhausting work. The worst part is that most of the time you are the only one investing in it.So I ask of you, BE SELFISH! This is the time of your life to not think of anybody but yourself! Forget about boys and concentrate on school! Get a hobby, join a club, dance, write, run be crazy. Don't waste your time on a boy that is looking for something totally different from what you are. Most importantly don't fight with your friends over someone that is just going to be there for a few days!
