I recently saw the film an Education starring Carey Mulligan. I became very anticipated to see the film after I watched the trailer online and I knew the film was going to be a great hit, it was getting great attention and acclaimed reviews. There is nothing better than a good anticipated film, though I was prepared to be disappointed of the film actually appearing through our cinemas since it would be considered a foreign and independent film. The film centers around a teenage girl, Jenny who is first determined to excel in school to attend Oxford University. The setting is around the 1960's, and then comes around an older charming man who in away represents a shortcut to those dreams of hers. The plot centers on the importance of an education and even if it is rigorous it is self fulfilling, it was really inspirational. I highly recommend this film and was very glad that Cary Mulligan was nominated for a golden globe. She is one of the new upcoming actresses who show real talent.
In the end I know some of you have gone through stages/obstacles towards your education and if you'd like to share some.....
