Donation Day!!
Today Claudia and I took donations to La Posada Home. Our Latinitas dug deep in their pockets to buy and gather clothes and stuff for the women who live at the Home. We had a crib, huge canned food, about 5 trash bags of clothes, cereals, snacks, hygiene products and even a baby seat. We had a whole truck load! It was awesome. Earth Day TODAY
Today is Earth day! Yay! Whats better than celebrating the planet we live on. Today, with it being Earth Day and all I wanted to post ten ways you can make your mark. Putting Ourselves Out There!
Today was my first tabling experience with Latinitas.We were at UTEP trying to get girls for our NEW Latinitas College Counsil! Whoooo! We are trying to get it all set up for the future members coming in Fall 2010. I must say our table looked fabulous! lol We had pictures of the girls, flyers and tons of info on internships and other volunteer positions.
