I thought Obama's back to school speech was effective because it was directed to students and encouraged them to take adavantage of their education because it is their key to success. Using personal examples as well as some from some students struggling with with other issues and are still succeeding in school was a good way to motivate not only children but any student whether they're in elementary, middle, high school, or college.

This year I celebrated the 4th of Julio since the 3rd. My boyfriend and I watched the El Paso Diablos fireworks at Transmountain with a lot of other El Pasoans. The 4th I was with my family for a while, then with my boyfriend's family, then we watched the fireworks with my family at a park. We ate some good food, had fun, and later met up with some of my friends to watch some more fireworks.
