Letter to the Editor!

So for my government class i was given an assignment which was to write a letter to the editor of the El Paso Times. What is your Halloween Costume going to be?

Now that Halloween is only a few days away I am getting in the spirit a little more. But that means I am stressing about what I'm going to wear. I am really trying to not to spend too much money. What do you girls think I can pull off with stuff just laying around at home?

Also what are you all plannin' on dressing up as? Anything original or exciting? Let me know, I am so interested in knowing what you guys have in mind for this year's night of Tricks and Treats.

Happy Hispanic Heritage Month

First of all Happy Latino Month to everyone!
My family is pretty proud of our heritage year round, so a certain month meant for hispanics makes no big difference. Although, it is a good thing to have a month to bring attention to our heritage. I am so proud that I am a Latina, and this month I am really helping out with the Latinitas clubs and I think that it is important to be enthused about it. It is our culture and the month to show how proud we really are.

Thanks Loida! The whole project took about 4 months: 2 in organizing and 2 in painting.

Chicago is amazing, it has so much culture. And you are right being able to travel is such a blessing and a privilege, there are so many places in the world I would LOVE to go... one day :)

I would love to get your feedback on any of the pieces.
